I was the Project Lead on the
creation of all user documentation for AT&T Multimedia Designer,
and I was personally responsible for most of the documentation's text
and graphics. I also oversaw
the documentation revisions on two software version updates.
Multimedia Designer was meant to compete with the likes of Adobe Illustrator
and CorelDRAW. Unfortunately it did not perform well enough on retail
shelves to survive very long after the Lucent Technologies split from
AT&T.
It probably did not help that the product's name was changed on its second
version before it had a chance to develop much of a market presence.
Below is a letter of recommendation I received on completion of the
final document revision.
